This year, we were proud to be independently certified as Carbon Neutral, achieving this significant milestone six years ahead of our 2030 target. It’s a key step in our long-term environmental commitment, as we continue to plot a course towards Net Zero by 2050.
Through our partnership with Carbon Neutral Britain™, we have actively supported certified offsetting projects that focus on both CO₂ sequestration and avoidance — from renewable energy generation to forest conservation and community-based initiatives around the world.
Alongside this, we’ve developed a comprehensive Carbon Reduction Plan, aligned with Public Procurement Notice (PPN) 06/21, which outlines our strategy for minimising emissions across our operations. While offsetting forms part of our journey, our primary focus remains on reducing and avoiding emissions at the source, wherever possible.
